Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee’s Department of Management Studies (DOMS) has released the IIT Roorkee MBA placement report 2024-25 on the official website. This year, the average CTC offered to students has been increased from Rs 16.8 LPA to Rs 18.3 LPA. The institute has achieved a 100% placement record in various sectors namely Analytics, Consulting, BFSI, FMCG, ITES, Retail, Manufacturing and Logistics.
The number of companies visited during this placement season was 50+ corporates including new recruiters. DOMS has notified that this year, the median package offered was Rs 18.09 LPA, while the Indian Institute of Technology lowest package stood at Rs 11.6 LPA. Candidates need to register on the JoSAA website using their JEE Main or JEE Advanced application number and password. After registration, they need to fill in their choices of IIT Roorkee and courses based on their preferences.
The last date of JoSAA counselling 2023 was July 26, 2023. Students willing to take admission to IIT Roorkee were required to attend the counselling session before the deadline. For any reason, if they skipped the counselling their seat were allotted to the student under their name on the list.
No, JoSAA counselling is not free. JEE Advanced qualified students have to pay the fees for the JoSAA counselling. The JoSAA counselling fees is Rs. 35,000 for the general category and 15,000 for SC, ST, GEN-PwD, GEN-EWS-PwD, OBC-NCL-PwD, SC-PwD, or ST-PwD category.
